PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL EVALUATIONS
Understanding your child’s educational strengths and struggles is critical to developing an effective plan for the student’s immediate and long-term needs.- Learning Issues
Learning issues and stresses and strains on the child and family are tightly intertwined. Interventions with children who have learning challenges must be multi-faceted and involve collaboration with everyone involved in the child’s care and education. They must address both immediate challenges faced by the child and family, as well as planning for long term supports. To learn more about our evaluation process, click here. - Autism Assessments
The assessment process includes an initial interview, a one-on-one assessment with the child, and a final meeting to discuss the results. A written report follows. - Gifted Assessments
A gifted assessment consists of an interview with the student and parent(s), followed by formal assessment of the student’s intelligence skills. The process takes approximately two hours. A written report follows. - School Consultations We are happy to consult with your child’s school following evaluation. We can assist with establishment and modifications of 504 and IEP plans. Our team can also consult on a previously established plan. In addition, we also can work with your child’s tutors and other educational professionals.
